ACCOMMODATIONS
The Villages
The primary residences at Sanctuary are The Villages made up of cabins that circle around a community campfire. Standard cabins accommodate anywhere from 10-12 people in bunk beds. They are heated with porches. Most cabins included bathrooms, and others share a bathhouse. There are also other cabins spread about the camp that have a newer design with internal rooms that accommodate as little as two people per room. You may also enjoy the rustic “tree house” cabins that overlook the creek, in the trees, with an indoor/outdoor feel provided the screened walls. We will do our best to match you with the accommodation preference you indicated during the registration process, but we cannot guarantee a specific cabin assignment. Tent and RV camping are also available (Attendees provide their own tents and RVs). Please indicate that upon registration.
Relaxing
There are so many places to ‘do nothing’ at Sanctuary. Read or nap at the hammock farm, toss a frisbee with new friends, hangout by the fire, meditate at the creek side gazebo. You can also hike into one of the sacred spaces in the woods or find one of the quiet spaces around camp for some alone time. If your top priority is unplugged relaxation time, we have you covered.
Food
Meals are an important time for connection at Sanctuary. Hearty and nourishing food is our focus with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The talented cooks and nutritionist on our Sanctuary team have created menus that will keep you fueled up with good energy during the weekend and accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are held at Cownie Dining Hall at specific times. In addition, the “Sanctuary Trading Post” will be open in Chase Lodge during the day and evening serving snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
