Jeff From
As early as the age of 6 Jeff From started to retreat into the woods to find himself and whatever else dwells there. These frequent wanderings helped to develop a mystical wonder and compassion for all of creation. Now, Jeff is a Restorative Justice Practitioner working to help people in conflict work with the emotions tied to harms in their lives. For the past fifteen years Jeff has worked with men and women in prison on trauma and trauma healing awareness. He facilitates an interactive Trauma Healing Awareness Workshop (THAW) that uses narratives and techniques from Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed. He also facilitates bystander trainings with high school students to prevent bullying, dating violence, and sexual assault. Jeff is still a wanderer in the woods and gardens as much as his yard will let him. He is grateful to be on the steering committee for Pollinate’s Man Camp.
