Cabins


Can I bunk with my friends?
Yes, please indicate your friend when you register.

Can I request a specific cabin?
You can requests a specific accommodation but we cannot guarantee that you will get it.

Are there private quarters available?
No, all quarters are shared quarters.

Are the cabins heated?
Yes.

Do I need to bring my own bedding?
We provide a camp mattress, but you bring sheets, pillows and blankets.

Do you have a cabin for specific affinity groups (ie. gay men, elders, BIPOC etc.)
Yes, if you would like to camp with a particular group please indicate on your registration or contact us here.

Who’s This Weekend For?

Sanctuary is for men, and male-identified attendees, who would like to engage in a weekend of self-exploration, relaxation and connection with other men.

I am a trans-man. This is a safe place for me?
Yes, this is an opportunity for all men and male-identified attendees to let their walls down, be themselves, and learn about others while practicing acceptance.

Are there health services available at Camp?
We will have first responders and an on call mental health professional available. If you have additional needs please indicate your needs during registration process.

I am an introvert and have some concerns about becoming overwhelmed with people. Is this a safe space for me?
Yes, there are many places to be alone at camp and plenty of self-guided time in the schedule to take the space you need. Circles are also a smaller group environment in which to interact with people.

Medical Needs

I have mobility issues can you accommodate?
Yes. Please indicate your needs during registration process.

How will you address the Covid19 virus?
We’ve worked with the Y camp to develop enhanced sterilization and cabin assignment protocols to maintain a healthy environment. We ask all attendees to evaluate their health and risk of complications from a possible infection before joining us. If you are ill and cannot attend a full refund will be offered.

Healing Practitioner Sessions

PRACTITIONER SESSIONS WILL GO ON SALE JULY 1ST, 2021.

When will I schedule a specific time for my healing practitioner session?
You will select your time from the options offered upon registration of a session. Sessions will be offered on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Are practitioner sessions additional cost?
Yes, sign up for these through registration link.

Activities

Are there any activities I’m required to participate in?
We would like all attendees to participate in the evening meal, evening gathering and circles.

Is horseback an additional cost?
Yes. Please refer to the Schedule or Activities page for those activities requiring an additional fee.

What are circles?
Circles are small (no more than 10-15 men), facilitated discussion groups, designed to give attendees a supported environment to go deeper into topics that promote healing and growth.

Food

Can I bring my own food?
Yes. If you plan on keeping it in your cabin, we do ask that food be stored in airtight containers to avoid attracting critters. If you need refrigeration you may store a limited amount of food at the Trading Post in Chase Lodge. Please label with your name and that it is not to be shared.

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?
Yes, we will make vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy free options available. If you have gluten or nut contamination concerns reach out for details on our facilities. Please indicate your dietary needs during the registration process with the question/answer provided.

Are all my meals included in the weekend?
Yes, and we will have the “Free Will” Trading Post with snacks and beverages available in between meals. Don’t worry. There will be plenty of food! The Trading Post has coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverages and is stocked, pot-luck style, by attendees.

Will there be alcohol available during the weekend?
No.

Is there any way to meet attendees before the event?
Yes, all registered attendees are invited to join our private Facebook Group. You can interact there or plan an real world meet up if you’d like.

Payments & Refunds

Is there a payment plan available?
Yes. A payment plan is available as an option upon registration.

What is your refund policy?
Full refunds will be available BEFORE September 1st, 2021. Any refunds requested after that time will are not available (including practitioner sessions). Registrations can be transferred to another name.

Do I pay for my practitioner session before hand?
Yes, you will pay through the registration portal prior to the weekend.

Will you refund if Covid 19 is still a quarantine situation in October?
Our first solution will be to reschedule the weekend for a later weekend within 4-6 months of the original date. If you cannot make that date, or we have to cancel all together, your registration will be refunded in full.
